As a foodie, I vote this place a MUST try! My husband traveled to Greece and says this is the closest to authentic he's tried in Houston, and you can't beat the service either! The owner, Terry, is always so incredibly kind and helpful to us, and his staff like Alfred always make us feel so welcome, too! He even remembers my parents' order and asks me about their health when I come in for a bite. Highly recommend the gyro and their spin on lasagna with the Greek fries or Greek salad. Their dressing is 1000% better than anything you'll find at HEB. You also can't go wrong with the spanikopita, hummus, or baklava... I haven't tried anything I haven't liked so far, and if you're curious, just ask, and they'll explain the menu items. 10/10 recommend over any big chain restaurant!
OH MY GOODNIGHT!!!!! This place is amazing. My mom and sister came here about a month ago and told me all about it. So excited I finally got to try it. The food is absolutely amazing. I will definitely be back. We drove from north of college station and it is worth the 2 1/2 hour drive. The owner, Terry is so friendly and inviting. If you have not been definitely go.
Been wanting to get out here for a while now and it did not disappoint. They helped me get exactly what I wanted and made great suggestions when I asked for them. The Greek fries are fantastic and the spicy sauce went perfectly with them! Go check them out!
Delicious, delicious, delicious. A wonderful little slice of Greece!! Highly recommended, they serve fresh, wonderful food. Heck, even the fried potatoes and zucchini had me floating! (Did not experience the typical bloat and ick as I do with normal fast food!!) They obliged with making half and half chicken and gyro meat pitas, super stuffed!! You really get your money's worth!
The food here is honestly great and Russell and Leah are the best. Russell’s sauces are fire and the food is always fresh. Leah is so sweet and always is willing to answer questions that we have about the menu. This is one of those hidden gems in Cypress, but everyone I’ve brought here has loved the food. The quality of food and the portions for the price are very reasonable.
One of my favorite things about this place is there are always great examples of the lunch specials on display. Food is always served hot and fresh. They have a signature hot sauce. Really like that. My wife added a bit of honey to cut the heat, I thought it was amazing as is. Meant to take a pic before posting was an after thought. So good.
The food is INCREDIBLE, and the quantity is quite large which is so nice! Lea/Leah took our order and gave us amazing recommendations and there was a super cool guy with making our food who made this amazing hot sauce for us could not recommend this place enough, such a delicious experience!
Definitely believe the hype! This food is awesome! I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment today. I'm not one to write reviews unless I've received very poor service and food or excellent service and food. In this case, it's the latter. I was first greeted by both individuals behind the counter with enthusiasm and a willingness to assist. There are plenty of great items on the menu, but I opted for a Greek salad and added chicken. The chicken was well seasoned, but not overly seasoned, the salad was fresh and the dressings taste great. When you go, because I know you will, don't forget to ask for the special sauce. It is phenomenal! Even the pita bread was absolutely delicious. It's not just plain pita bread, but grilled to a nice crisp, with a garlic butter flavor and a wonderful texture. I could go on and on, but I think you get the point, THE FOOD IS AWESOME! Great job Simply Greek, I'll be back soon .
